Ilham Edgar Maulana

I’m a Computer Science student at IPB University with a strong interest in fullstack development and game creation. I enjoy building things that are both functional and fun to interact with.

From setting up Minecraft servers back in elementary, learning how systems work from trial and error. I have explored a bunch of web technologies, learned to deploy to cloud platforms, and used loads of creative tools to turn my ideas into reality.

Project Showcase

Chat Room Burik

A real-time chat room inspired by Discord. Complete with usernames, profile pictures, threaded replies, using Firebase Firestore database that's still live today. Built using SvelteKit + Firebase. Hosted in Vercel.

ST27 Menfess App

A fully-anonymous menfess app built for Class ST-27. Seamlessly integrates with the Twitter API to instantly forward user messages with near-zero latency. Clean, fast, and completely anonymous. Hosted in Vercel.

Instagram Profile Roaster

A full stack app that analyzes your Instagram profile and roasts it using AI. Uses SvelteKit frontend, FastAPI backend with WebSockets for loading update, scrapes data via Selenium, and generates AI roasts with google's Gemini API. Hosted in Vercel.

Milk Clicker

A Unity clicker game where you tap a milk carton to uncover the secret milk ending. Game art was made by me in Adobe Illustrator. Hosted in Vercel.

Quiz Goblok

A Unity satirical quiz game inspired by The Impossible Quiz and local Indonesian humor. Game art was made by me in Adobe Flash. Hosted in Vercel.

Fuck You Boutta Do?

Judgmental AI Todo-List app with a grunge aesthetic, leaderboards, and Google login (Firebase Auth). Add todos, get scored by AI (Gemini API), and compete for the top spot! Hosted in Vercel.

Ngerti.io

Frontend UI proof of concept for Ngerti.io, an online learning platform for college majors. Features include a shop, subscription plans, quests, daily check-in rewards, major selection, profile, and settings. Inspired by Ruangguru and Duolingo. Hosted in Vercel.

Semnas Battle

A Unity-made web visualizer designed for big events, where up to 500 participants are transformed into unique 3D cubes (using data from a .csv file). These virtual cubes battle it out in an epic simulation. Only one survives to win the lottery. Hosted in Vercel.

Chill WhatsApp Bot

Built an end-to-end self-hosted WhatsApp bot stack. Messages are received and sent via EvolutionAPI, connected in real time to Gemini API using n8n for workflow automation. Everything is fully dockerized (since Coolify uses Docker), self-hosted inside an Oracle Cloud VPS, deployed and managed with Coolify, and hosted on my own custom domain.

Lead Backend Engineer

Lead backend engineer and full-stack developer for IPB's annual IT Today event.
Developed backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js, Express.js, MySQL, and Prisma ORM.
Implemented secure authentication flows (Google OAuth2, password reset, email verification).
Refactored React frontend components and optimized performance for responsiveness and mobile compatibility.
Managed version control with Git/GitHub, adding 21,418 and removing 6,697 lines of code.
Deployed staging environments via cPanel for seamless backend-frontend integration.
Automated batch exporting of modern design certificates for 500 participants using Figma and data from a .csv attendees file.

Cybersecurity IPB

IPB University’s community for cybersecurity enthusiasts, focusing on CTFs, penetration testing, and hands-on hacking skills together.

Active Member

Joined: After placing 1st in AgriHack preliminary rounds.
Forensics: Analyzed files (images, audio, .pcap, binaries) with tools like FTK Imager, Wireshark, and Audacity for steganography and data extraction.
Cryptography: Solved various cipher and encryption challenges (binary, Caesar, Vigenère, RSA, AES).
Reverse Engineering: Used Ghidra and online decompilers to reverse custom algorithms and understand program logic from binaries.
Web Exploitation: Found and exploited vulnerabilities such as LFI, RCE, cookie manipulation, and path traversal.
OSINT: Researched using public sources; extracted info from image metadata, Pastebin, and social media.
PWN: Crafted payloads with pwntools to exploit memory vulnerabilities and run custom shellcode.
Blockchain: Completed Solidity quizzes and exploited smart contracts to claim ownership and withdraw funds.
Miscellaneous: Tackled network (netcat) and logic-based puzzle challenges.

Himalkom IPB

HIMALKOM IPB is the Computer Science student association at IPB University, organizing academic, community, and development programs for its members.

Fullstack Engineer - Web Division (Research & Technology)

Led a full UI/UX revamp for the 2026 cabinet, modernizing the visual system and navigation.
Shipped the Explore page to map departments and communities clearly for faster discovery.
Built the Community Projects homepage section that pulls projects from the database and links to each showcase.
Used standard Git/GitHub workflows for version control, reviews, and collaboration.
Automated account registration for new HIMALKOM division heads and BPH in the internal portal using a custom script.
Integrated a fullstack workflow across Laravel, React, and MySQL, styled with Tailwind CSS and deployed via cPanel.
